In a move to boost their squad, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets have completed the signing of an exciting winger, Lameck Gamphani from Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos Football Club.
The Club announced the development on Monday afternoon after the player signed a three-year contract with the Blantyre based giants.
“FCB Nyasa Big Bullets is delighted to announce that Lameck Gamphani has signed a three-year contract from Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos Football Club. The 21-year-old attacker will be at Bullets until 2027,” reads the announcement.
The people’s team started tracking Gamphani in June this year after learning TP Mazembe’s interest on Lanjesi Nkhoma and the new catch is said to be a perfect replacement for outgoing Nkhoma who is expected to sign a contract with DRC’s Five-time Caf Champions League winners.
After lacking in their attacking options due to persistent injuries and Patrick Mwaungulu and Lanjesi Nkhoma’s departure, Bullets were forced to cough MK7 Million for the transfer of the winger.
Speaking after signing his contract, Gamphani said a move to Bullets was an opportunity that he has been dreaming of since he started his career at Dedza Dynamos.
“It’s a dream of every player to play for this big team. FCB Nyasa Big Bullets is the biggest team in Malawi and it’s always been my dream to play for this noble team. It’s an honor for me to play for this team and an opportunity for me to be here,” Lameck Gamphani tells Bullets’ Media.
“Pressure? Not at all! Football is just the same, the only difference is the environment and colour of the jerseys. This is a team of results, a team that plays to win trophies. For me, it’s a challenge to play for this Club and to win more silverware with the Club.”
Gamphani was one of the members of the squad that helped Dedza Dynamos to earn super league promotion in 2021 after winning the Chipiku Central Region Football League.
During his three-year stay in the TNM Super League, the attacker recorded a staggering 74 goal contribution which is dissected to 48 assists and 26 goals.
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets have also agreed to sign Mzuzu City Hammers midfielder, Wongani Lungu and the player is expected to leave Mzuzu to Blantyre on Tuesday.
