FCB Nyasa Big Bullets head coach Kalisto Pasuwa has openly expressed his frustrations at his team’s continued lack of consistency this season.
Speaking after last Sunday’s TNM Super league match in which the People’s team gave away a 1-0 lead to draw 1-1 at Kamuzu Stadium against Moyale Barracks. Pasuwa could not hide his frustration saying it will now take a miracle to turn around the team’s fortunes this season.
The Zimbabwean tactician was commenting on his team’s preparedness ahead of Sunday’s CAF Champions League tie against Zambia’s Red Arrows at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.
“A win against Moyale could have been a huge motivation indeed. Like I said this result brings the heads down and now as coaches we need to work more in order to motivate the players to raise their heads again” said Pasuwa
He added: “Remember we registered to play [in CAF Champions League] so we just need to fulfil this fixture”
The 2023 TNM Super League champions are still struggling for consistency this season.
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets are fifth on the standings, having accumulated 24 points from 16 games 16 points behind leaders Silver Strikers and last Sunday’s draw against Moyale was their ninth this season setting a record for their own over the past decade.
Meanwhile, Red Arrows are enjoying perfect form after winning the CECAFA Kagame Cup last month, and over the weekend they clinched the Zambian Charity Shield after edging out Kabwe Warriors.
