Zambian National Division 1 side, River Plate Football Club are on the verge of signing Malawian youngster Moses Ntago from South African Mayfair Local Division 3 League side, All Stars FC.
The 20-year-old midfielder has confirmed to us saying River Plate Football Club are pushing to sign him but are yet to meet All Stars’ asking price.
“I’ve been told by my manager that I’ll be leaving to Zambia probably next week once discussions between my club and River Plate are done” Ntago told The Atlas Malawi
“River Plate Football Club is eager to sign me after I completed two-week-long trials and I am interested to join them” he added
Moses Ntago has made considerable progress in the last six years at youth levels, locally. He spent his formative years in Blantyre, going from strength to strength for about four years.
In 2018, he was part of the FIFA-FAM Under20 squad for the Blantyre Rural team before joining Izo-Izo Warriors same year.
A year later, Ntago joined Ntopwa Football Club where he sustained a horrible ankle injury that left him sidelined for the whole year.
He moved to Blue Eagles FC in 2021 where he was registered as a Semi-Senior until 2022 when the Area 30 outfit decided to just register him in their Reserves.
Ntango joined South African All Stars earlier this year where he has only spent seven months.
Your point of view caught my eye and was very interesting. Thanks. I have a question for you.
