CRFA delighted as Chipiku hikes Premier Division sponsorship

Chipiku Stores has increased the sponsorship package for the CRFA Chipiku Premier Division League from K16.5 million to K19.8 million per season, representing 20 percent increment.

Chipiku Stores Regional Administration Manager Brown Mkangama said the company has committed to sponsor the league for the upcoming 2024 season.

This was announced Thursday afternoon at a CRFA Chipiku League awards ceremony at Bingu National stadium in Lilongwe.

“The increment has been there due to performance, teams have really performed well this season and we hope this will encourage and motivate players on the other hand enhance level of competition” said Mkangama

The CRFA General Secretary Antonio Manda received the announcement with great excitement and jubilation.

FAM President, Fleetwood Haiya praised Chipiku Stores for being there for the country’s football fraternity.

“Firstly let me send my gratitude to Chipiku Stores, Chipiku Stores have shown that they are indeed real partners in Football development”

“We know that everyone is going through hard times including the corporate world but for them to come up with 20% increment package, we don’t take that for granted”

Haiya further urged CRFA to sit down with their sponsors and discuss how best they can bring in other sponsorship partners to boost the package.
