The Mchinji District Football Committee has confirmed it’s readiness to host 2024 Mchinji District Football Cup final this Sunday.

Vice General Secretary for Mchinji District Football Committee Vincent Pensulo has told The Atlas Malawi that the final match will involve Blue Wings and Mikundi Youth at Kamwendo Model Ground.

“All is set for the final between Blue Wings and Mikundi Youth at Kamwendo Model Ground but before that game, there’s a third place match between Sigireta Hammers and Misale United on Saturday at the same venue, Kamwendo Model Ground” said Pensulo.

However, Pensulo has hailed all teams that participated in the competition for exercising fair play.

“We are happy that we are finishing this tournament without major challenges. Teams have been exercising fair play throughout the tournament”.

The Mchinji District Football trophy is sponsored by Ajawa Commodity to the tune of K3million.
