PremierBet Dedza Dynamos forward Promise Kamwendo has left the club to join Mighty Mukuru Wanderers where he has signed a three-year-contract.
The Nomads completed one of the brutal transfer hijackings the Super League has seen, as Kamwendo snubbed FCB Nyasa Big Bullets at the eleventh hour to join the rival camp.
The People’s team were very interested in signing the Super League third joint top goalscorer, and everyone at Bullets believed a deal was pretty much over the line.
Unveiling ceremony was scheduled to take place yesterday, Monday after Bullets paid Dedza Dynamos K3 million transfer fee last Saturday, but then Wanderers came calling. CEO Panganeni Ndovie travelled to Dedza and offered him a lucrative deal compared to what Bullets had on table.
Mighty Mukuru Wanderers announced Kamwendo as their new player last night and he will pocket K8 million signing on fees and his salary is at around K600 000.
Kamwendo will replace Christopher Kumwembe who left the club this morning to finalize his move to Green Buffaloes of Zambia.
Your point of view caught my eye and was very interesting. Thanks. I have a question for you.
