Sealand Investments Ltd donates K5m to Presidential Charity Golf initiative

Sealand Investments Limited has made a donation of K5 million towards the presidential charity golf initiative.

Speaking at the handover ceremony the company’s managing director Dipak Ratilal Jevant said the company feels duty-bound to support the president in supporting victims of Cyclone Freddie and needy university students through the presidential charity golf initiative.

” As a responsible corporate business we have to support the president in his efforts to uplift the welfare of Malawians especially those affected by Cyclone.” Said Jevant.

On his part a Chairperson for the presidential charity golf initiative committee Boyd Luwe commended Sealand Investments Limited for the support.

“Today Sealand Investments Limited joins elite companies in the country in supporting this years presidential charity golf initiative whose funds will be channeled towards aiding Cyclone fredd victims and needy University students. We say thank you and we want other companies to emulate the gesture. We plan to distribute these funds early next year and it’s not too late to join the president in the good cause. This is why we are still calling on companies to continue making donations towards this cause. ” Said Luwe.

The presidential charity golf tournament was played on 21 October with President Lazarus Chakwera and his Vice Saulos Chilima participating.
