Sunday’s clash at Silver Stadium is gearing up to be a good one, with both Silver Strikers and Mighty Wanderers entering the match on the back of solid performances against Creck Sporting and Karonga United, respectively.

Both teams put together impressive attacking displays, so fans should be ready for a mouthwatering match.

The hosts have won all their four home Super League encounters, scoring 12 times.

The Bankers remains top of standings ahead of this match with 16 points from six games.

Six weeks into this season, the Nomads have played all their games in the Southern Region where they managed to bag 12 points.

They have recorded one away win and two draws as well as two home wins and a draw.

However, Wanderers will be looking to tame the gap with Silver Strikers to just one point and move from third to second.

In other matches on Sunday, seventh placed Karonga United will face 10th placed Civil Service United at Karonga Stadium.

The hosts have 8 points while the Servants are a point behind.

Dedza Stadium will host ninth placed Dedza Dynamos and Chitipa United who sits a place above relegation.

There’s also a relegation battle between Bangwe All Stars and MAFCO FC at Mpira Stadium. The two sides are tied on three points, with Bangwe staying on 14th, a place above MAFCO thanks to their superior goal difference.

Before Sunday’s games, there are also plenty of action on Saturday with FCB Nyasa Big Bullets match against Mzuzu City Hammers a headliner.

On paper, Bullets should walk all over the Hammers given previous five meetings where the Peoples team have won four and the other game ended in a draw.

But Mzuzu City Hammers impeccable form they are in, gives hope of a difficult affair at Kamuzu Stadium.

They are second on standings with 13 points while Bullets are three points behind with 10 points so far.

The Aubrey Dimba Stadium in Mchinji is expected to host second Super League match between Kamuzu Barracks and Moyale Barracks in all military affair.

Kamuzu Barracks have started despite a loss at Mzuzu City Hammers last weekend. They have 11 points on fourth but only two points separates them with Moyale who are sixth.

Last match on Saturday will see Creck Sporting Club taking on FOMO FC at Civo Stadium.
