Moyale Barracks suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Karonga United in the TNM Super League on Wednesday at Karonga Stadium.
Allen Chihana’s and Mwisho Youngson’s strike in the 56th and 65th minute respectively were enough to hand Moyale Barracks their 13th loss of the season, placing them 11th on the log table with 23 points from 19 games played.
In a post-march interview coach for Moyale Barracks, Nicholus Mhango accepted the defeat saying that it was the failure of players in attacking the host team. He also attributed fatigue as the main reason for the loss.
On his part, Karonga United coach Treva Kajawa was pleased with the results acknowledging dedication and hard work of the players helped the team to do better.
Karonga United FC is currently on 6th position of the log table with 27 points and have won seven games out of the 19 games played.
