Mighty Mukuru Wanderers will face FCB Nyasa Big Bullets in the round of 16 of the 2024 FDH Bank Cup.
The Nomads confirmed their place in this season’s FDH Bank Cup round of 16 after Monday’s 3-0 win over Cobbe Barracks.
A brace from Gaddie Chirwa and a goal from Francisco Madinga secure a 3-0 win for Meke Mwase’s team and so make it Blantyre Derby affair in the last 16.
Speaking after the match, Wanderers goalkeepers coach, Simplex Nthala thanked his boys for adhering to the instructions.
Commenting on the next assignment against Bullets in FDH Bank Cup he said: “Our desire is to reach final and win this cup so we will work hard and prepare for our next assignment” said Nthala
The People’s team confirmed there own place in the round of 16 with Sunday’s 5-0 win over Bangwe All Stars.
The Blues were booted out by Bullets in 2021 and 2022 FDH Bank Cup editions.
