Chipiku Premier Division League prize presentations Saturday

The Central Region Football Association (CRFA) in conjunction with Chipiku Stores official sponsor of Chipiku Premier Division League have announced that end of season awards presentations ceremony will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Mchinji community hall.

According to the statement signed by CRFA General Secretary, Antonio Manda, deserving teams and individuals will walk away with different awards.

“Central Region Football Association (CRFA) in conjunction with Chipiku Stores official Sponsor of Chipiku Premier Division league would like to inform Teams and District Member Associations and entire football fraternity that 2022/23 season Prize Presentation will be held on Saturday 18th February, 2023 at Mchinji community hall from 13hrs.
On this day, deserving teams and individuals will walk away with different awards” said the statement

It has been a stellar season, with Extreme FC, Silver Strikers Reserve and Wimbe United locked in an intense battle for the Chipiku Premier Division League title until final two games, when Extreme FC were declared champions after their contenders stumbled.

The Mchinji based team is expected to receive their honours as the champions of 2022/23 season while Silver Strikers Reserve will receive runners up award.

The Luanar FC talisman Innocent Makawano was nothing short of sensational in Chipiku League this season scoring 33 times more than any player and as a result he will be honored with the Top Goalscorer award.

The player of the season, Most disciplined team as well as Best referee of the season award winners will be known at the event.

The Media awards will not be skipped as usual as the best performing Chipiku League journalists will be awarded on different categories.
