Salima based out-fit,Amboya Football Club has commended its players for successful 2020/23 season in the Centra region football association Unayo division one league.

After playing with commitment,hard work and purpose the up coming youthful team manage to qualify for Chipiku Premier league from division in its first season.

“I would like to commend efforts of our players,technical panel and the entire management for reaching this far,getting a promotion to premier league in our debut season,it’s not minor achievement,” said Amboya F.C technical director,Haswell Sakala in his address to the team during an appreciation event held in the district.

According to Sakala the teams vision is on track and they are optimistic of achieving their goal and vision to play in elite TNM super league and possibly becoming one of the powerhouse in Africa in the coming 10 years.

On his part the teams media officer Noel Bauleni assured soccer fraternity in the country that the team has come to stay and promise to wonders and prove the doubting Thomas’s wrong.

During 2022/23 Chipiku Central Region Unayo Division One season the Salima based team finished third with 18 points and qualify for premier league spot in the process.
