At Champion Stadium in Mponela MAFCO’s Bernard Chimaimba took home his player of the match award as his side played out to a goaless draw against fellow soldiers Kamuzu Barracks.

While at Kasungu stadium, despite his side succumbing to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of the visiting Ekwendeni Hammers, TN Stars’ Chisomo Sambani had something to smile about as he took home his player of the match accolade.

Elsewhere on Sunday, Civo’s Patrick Phiri was named player of the match in a thrilling encounter in which the Civil servants shared the spoils with Moyale Barracks in a 2-2 draw.
