Minister of Labour Agnes NyaLonge has tipped youths who have graduated from Youth Vocational Skills trainings under TEVET to take a great role in transforming the country.

NyaLonje made the remarks on Tuesday at William Murray Secondary School Ground in Nkhoma, Lilongwe during the graduation of 478 youths from Malingunde Vocational Skills Centre, Bowe Technical College, Msaku Skills Vocational Centre and Nkhoma Complex Vocational Skills Centre.

“I am encouraging all those that have graduated today to go out and create jobs for themselves and others in their respective communities. If we want this country to be transformed, if we want to fulfill 2063 agenda, this is the way to go,” said NyaLonje.

Director of Operations for World Vision Malawi, Charles Chimombo said they are funding the project as part of youth empowerment.
