FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and Mighty Mukuru Wanderers legends have today donated foodstuffs and K200,000 to former Flames star Lloyd Nkhwazi.
Upon receiving the donation, the former Bullets and Dwangwa United coach admitted that he has been struggling to make a living since he left Dwangwa back in 2019.
“Iam very grateful for this donation. To say the fact I’ve been in financial mess since partying ways with Dwangwa United five years ago, at least with this donation ensures me that I’ll eat this evening and the next few days” said Nkhwazi
Meanwhile, Nkhwazi has appealed to Football Association of Malawi (FAM) to find ways of supporting ex-Flames players who are struggling earn a living.
General Secretary for the group, Raheem Ishmael expressed his happiness to see their donation gratifying Nkhwazi.
Ishmael further revealed that their next target is former Civil Service United coach Alex Masanjala who has been sick for the past five years.
“we will be visiting coach Masanjala who has been relocated to Mchalo, we will try to make a trip going that side”
Before visiting Nkhwazi, the Bullets and Wanderers legends donated assorted items to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital Children’s Ward worth K500,000.
