Civil Sporting Club coach Abasi Makawa admits he is looking to dip into the transfer market after the first round to cover the loss of striker Emmanuel Saviel jr.

Saviel who was on loan at Civil Service United from FCB Nyasa Big Bullets left the club a fortnight ago to join Zambian side Mufulira Wanderers.

Before his departure, Saviel was the leading goal scorer of the Club with seven goals from 12 matches in all competitions.

However, in absence of the Malawi U20 star, the Servants have played four matches, scoring in all matches except their recent home match against Mighty Tigers that ended goalless last Wednesday.

Reacting to the draw, Makawa vowed that Civil Sporting Club will not stand still in the transfer market, saying new number nine is needed in their quest to climb up the table.

“definitely, we need to add two strikers as you know we lost our top striker who is in Zambia now, so we need a lethal striker to finish chances that we are missing,” said Makawa.

Currently, Makawa’s targets on the market are yet to be known.

With a game to wrap-up the season, the Servants have collected 19 points and stays 10th in the TNM Super League Standings.
