Record-breaking Mo626 college volleyball championship winners, Malawi Assemblies of God (MAGU) are to mark their two-in-a-row achievements with a parade on Saturday.
Both MAGU men’s and women’s volleyball teams defended Mo626 titles last weekend with victories over ABC and UNILIL respectively.
MAGU sports Administrator Wills Chioko said the parade will start and end at their premises.
“We will start the parade at our premises and join Chilambula Road through immigration department and Game stores. From Game stores we will trek down to City Mall and Bwandiro before returning to MAGU,” Said Chioko.
According to Chioko, after the parade there will be different activities at MAGU premises as part of trophies celebrations.
Chioko has further has called upon all Lilongwe residents to be part of the celebrations.
“We want to celebrate this success with people of Lilongwe. The City residents should come and join us because this is their party”.
