Good governance expert and one of the inspiring member in Salima, Maxwell Mnjemu has urged youths in the district to take a leading role towards helping the country achieve Malawi 2063.
Speaking in an interview on Tuesday, Mnjemu said young people should not be despised,saying have the potential to contribute effectively in various developmental projects in our communities.
He said: “The country has a large share of young young,so it’s just could be an imperative to use and encourage the majority on helping the nation achieve its vision,hence the call.”
Mnjemu said it’s an encouragement to see that a lot of youths now have embraced the concept and know their roles in as far as Malawi 2063 is concerned.
According to one of the youths activists in Salima, Frank Chikafumbwa said as young in the district vows to work hard to achieve the programs goals.
However Chikafumbwa said they need to be invested, in order for them to address the needs,concerns and aspirations of people towards vision.
The country is currently working towards achieving Malawi 2063.
