Jamaican reggae star Gramps Morgan has send tribute message to the family of the fallen icon Lucius Banda.
Posting on his Facebook page, Gramps Morgan says he will never forget singing with Banda at the Sand Music Festival.
“I will never forget the night singing with you all at the Sand Music Festival. Condolences to the wife, children and the entire family,” said Morgan.
In 2021, Lucius Banda who was the organizer of the Sand Music Festival, invited Gramphs Morgan to grace the event.
Banda died on Sunday in South Africa at the age of 53 after battling with kidney problems.
The remains of Lucius Banda arrived today at Chileka airport in Blantyre, and it has been taken to the College of Medicine Mortuary for a brief ceremony.
It will then be taken to his home village in Balaka.
