Up and coming artist cum Producer and DJ Sensation Chmba has on Friday released an Extended Playlist (EP) titled “Okongola Caucus” to announce her arrival on the musical scene in the country.

Chmba who is currently signed under Platoon is a music genius that blends Afro Sounds, Future Beats, and Electronic Grooves.

Speaking to Atlas Malawi, Chmba said Malawians and all fun seekers should be ready for some entertaining music from her EP.

Chmba started making headway in the music industry at the age of seven and she has been immersed in the world of music, tearing apart family cassettes to create the funkiest mixes that seamlessly blend afro sounds, future beats, and electronic and house grooves.

“I come a long way in the musical world and i feel its now time to give Malawi and the world what i really have in me. People should be prepared to be captivated by the electrifying beats and infectious talent as I’m taking the music world by storm.” she said.

The EP discusses various facets of love, exploring themes of romance, parental bonds, desire, distance, freedom, and barriers.

The EP expertly fuses afro-centric sounds and genres with electronic and house elements, resulting in a mesmerizing new form of sonic beauty.” she said.

Real name Ellen Chilemba, Chmba’s talent and music are set to reach even greater audiences around the world. She continues to blaze her trail after a few accomplishments which speak volume about her.
