Castel Limited Company, the sponsors of the K320 million Castel Ibongetse Cup has appealed to the remaining teams in the competition at the regional level to continue exercising fare play.
Regional Sales Manager for Castel Limited, Nkhwachi Mhango said this during the draw which was conducted on Tuesday at Civo Stadium Club House.
“As a sponsor what we need to hear is fare play, for sometime the fears in football has always been violence but here we are we are progressing very well without such bad news I think it’s encouraging, the best thing I can do is to commend the CRFA for running this competition professionally and I urge people to continue disassociate themselves from hooliganism” said Mhango
In his remarks, CRFA vice chairman Goodwill Chinjoka advised teams to follow rules and regulations of the competition.
“We expect teams to understand and follow rules of the game so that the regional level should be completed thoroughly and we expect right candidates to go through and reach greater heights at the national level” said Chinjoka
Chinjoka added that venues to be used will be decided the later on by the Association.
On behalf of all teams present, one of the officials at Kawinga FC Owen Munthali was contented the way draw has been conducted saying it was transparent and fair.
Kawinga FC will play St. Gabriel Medicals Zitha in the very crucial match.
The others include Silver Strikers Reserve vs Ngolowindo and the winner between Spearhead vs Kamuzu Barracks Reserve will play away against Mitundu Strikers.
Elsewhere, Mangoni Warriors will go to Kasungu to face Chisomo Academy, Mtengenji Monaco will host Dedza Young Soccer, while Villa FC will travel to Leyman Panthers.
