Voting for the Dolo Kwambiri Amavotera Chakwera Music Challenge top 5 has been opened at 12 midnight, the organizers have confirmed.

Yesterday, the organizers announced top 15 songs that will contest for the prestigious K5 million awards.

Chief Judge Tapps Bandawe said they received an overwhelming 212 song submissions, but they trickled the figure to just 15 after a thorough analysis.

“We received 212 song submissions emanating from five different genres. So from each category we selected three songs to come up with the final 15”

“We are opening voting for the top five songs today midnight and people will continue using the link https://www.chakwerachallenge.com to vote” said.

In his remarks, Minister of Labor Vitumbiko Mumba who introduced the challenge said he is overwhelmed with the huge participation of artists.

Mumba added by making an assurance that all the 5 artists that will voted into the top 5, will ended get their K5million rewards.

Meanwhile, Mumba has announced that all participants will be appreciated with undisclosed amount of money.

Below is the full list of 15 shortlisted artists:
