The Central Region Football Association (CRFA) 2023 awards presentation ceremony will take place on Thursday, 29th February in Lilongwe.

A gala afternoon will take place at the Bingu National Stadium where the outstanding performers from Chipiku Premier Division League will be recognized.

“I can confirm here that we have organized a very big function on 29th February 2024 at Bingu National Stadium. The event will take place in the Media Conference Room from 14:00hrs until 16:00hrs” said Manda

The Awards Ceremony, which showcases and recognizes the outstanding achievements in Chipiku League football, offers an alluring and exciting atmosphere as Central Region’s teams and reporters wait in anticipation to find out who has won the prestigious awards.

Creck Sporting Club, the then Kawinga FC, will get their price as the 2023 Chipiku Premier Division League Champions.

The Area 22 side won the championship to earn Super League promotion after scooping 53 points, six above second placed Namitete Zitha FC who will receive their award as runners up.

Apart from teams, Manda said the CRFA has also organized some individual awards.

“Again we have awards for best referees, the Top Goal scorer and player of the season. For the player of the season we asked teams to vote for one, they voted and we have records that will be aired on this particular day”

However, the CRFA has not spared the Media as Best Reporters for Online, Television, Radio, Commentary and Print will also get their awards.
