Three More Rewarded in Week 5 of the Airtel Money Tola Promotion

Date:

Three more Airtel Money customers have become millionaires after winning K5 million each in the fifth draw of the ongoing Airtel Money Tola Promotion on Thursday.

The latest winners are Gloria Mapira, a Kaunjika trader from Neno District, Elless Matikiti, an agro-dealer from Bangwe in Blantyre, and Jasten Kasokota, a farmer from Malomo in Ntchisi.

Mapira expressed delight after receiving news of her win, saying the prize money will help grow her clothing business through reinvestment.

“I am very happy to have won. This money will make a huge difference to my business, and I intend to reinvest it so that I can expand,” she said.

Another winner, Matikiti, attributed her success to actively using Airtel Money services, saying she deliberately increased her transactions to improve her chances of winning.

“I made sure I used Airtel Money more often because I wanted to increase my chances of winning. I am so excited that I have won, and I plan to reinvest the money into my existing business,” she said.

Speaking after the fifth draw, Airtel Money Head of Marketing Virginia Jere described the promotion as a continued success, saying it has generated excitement among customers while rewarding their loyalty.

“The promotion has been exciting, and it has been a good five weeks. So far, we have splashed K115 million, and we urge more customers to use Airtel Money and win from the promotion. To enter the promotion, one just needs to transact with Airtel Money through both the USSD platform and the My Airtel App,” said Jere.

Jere noted that with seven weeks to go, many more customers have an opportunity to become winners.

She also urged customers to ensure their Airtel Money accounts are registered using their own personal details, including valid identification, saying this is a legal requirement that also facilitates the prize redemption process.

The Airtel Money Tola Promotion rewards three customers with K5 million every week and 300 customers with K50,000 as consolation prizes. The 12-week campaign will conclude with one lucky customer walking away with the grand prize of K50 million.
