Sulom president, Colonel Gilbert Mittawa heaped praise on the betting firm for the partnership.

“We are excited to welcome Premier Bet to the elite domestic football family. This is a big step towards rebranding, reforming, and reviving the league,” he said.

He added that the door is still open for other companies to channel their money into the league in order to increase the revenues for the Clubs.

Sulom already got an assurance from the main sponsors of the league, TNM Plc of about MK500 Million for the sponsorship of the 2024 season.
