St. Louis High School has increased sponsorship for the Dedza District League from K3 million to K4 million.

The School announced the increment Sunday during the launch of the 2024 edition of the League at St. Louis ground in Dedza.

Speaking on behalf of the Director Lewis Yumbe, Headmaster Amos Kachilele said the increment is a way of improving level of competition in the League.

“We thought of continuing and even adding on top of K3 million to K4 million for one major reason of improving level of competition in the league” said Kachilele

Following the increment, the champions will now pocket K1 million up from K750,000 while runners up and third placed team will get K500,000 and K250,000 respectively.
