Partnering KB widens Super Sakuwa visibility – Valentini

Super Sakuwa Steel limited has disclosed making improvements in it’s business since partnering with the Super League of Malawi outfit, Kamuzu Barracks Football Club.

Two weeks ago, the Iron sheets manufacturing company became Kamuzu Barracks’ official kit sponsor and also player of the match awards provider.

Speaking on Sunday after KB’s 2-1 win over Civo Service United the Super Sakuwa steel limited Distribution and Logistic Manager, Mike Valentini revealed that the partnership has attracted alot of customers.

“We have noted great improvements, the sales have really gone up because of the partnership that we have between us and Kamuzu Barracks” said Valentini

He added “We’re expecting a lot of retains and huge ones at the end of the season because a lot of customers are now coming in since we started sponsoring this team.

“We are now visible. And because wherever Kamuzu Barracks is playing people will be seeing us, and our visibility is expected to reach wider range”

Kamuzu Barracks were 2-0 up at halftime courtesy of Olson Kanjira and Ziliat Nkhoma goals before Civo’s consolation, late in the second half through Emmanuel Saviel Jr.

After the match Mike Mtonyo was voted Man of the Match for his excellent defending and overlapping that saw him making a number of blocks and clearances as well as winning a penalty for the second goal.

“I’m happy for winning this award. The motivation from Super Sakuwa is too huge and it has positively impacted the performance of our team” said Mtonyo

Since the coming in of Super Sakuwa, Kamuzu Barracks have a 100 percent record, beating FOMO FC 3-1 before sinking Civo Service United 2-1.

The Military side sits 5th with 8 points from four games.
