Step son of former President of the Republic of Malawi Peter Mutharika, Tadikira Mafubza has been granted bail by the High Court sitting in Mzuzu.
Tadikira was arrested end last year in connection to a mass grave which was discovered at Mtangatanga Forest Reserve in Mzimba.
He is facing murder and aggravated human trafficking.
among the bail conditions, Judge Gladys Gondwe ordered Tadikira to pay K2million cash bond, provide two blood related sureties each bonded at K5million non-cash and that he should surrender his passport and all travel documents to police.
He has also been ordered not to interfere with investigations or contact any witnesses related to the case and report to National police headquarters every Tuesday of a fortnight.
Mafubza is answering the charges alongside four other suspects namely David Luhanga, Thomas Gidson, Samuel Navaya and Duncan Kalulu.
