Mthunzi Funeral Services partners iMoSyS to enhance funeral planning

A leading provider of funeral services in the country, Mthunzi Funeral Services Limited, has announced a strategic partnership with iMoSyS Limited which is a pioneer in providing innovative digital solutions to enhance the funeral planning experience.

This collaboration is expected to digitise the funeral planning experience by integrating Mthunzi Funeral Services’ comprehensive catalogue into the Alonda App developed by iMoSyS Limited.

Speaking in an interview, Mthunzi Funeral Services General Manager Onismas Karakadzai, said, through the partnership, Mthunzi Funeral Services Limited customers will be able to conveniently access all funeral services which include coffins and caskets, body removal, body storage, embalming, tents, hearses, chapel use just to mention a few, through the ‘click of a button”, a first in Malawi.

According to Karakadzai the Alonda application will provide an additional easy-to-use customer channel to help customers during these difficult times.

“The Alonda application offers various communication features, including alerts for call-backs, live chat functionality with the client servicing team, and the ability to make calls within the app. These features provide customers with seamless and convenient means of communication, ensuring a smoother funeral planning process.” he said.

Karakadzai added that both Mthunzi Funeral Services Limited and iMoSyS Limited are excited about the collaboration, as it combines their expertise in providing superior funeral planning experience through the Alonda application.

On the Other hand, iMoSyS Business Development Manager Desire Mwanza Peno said as a company they are happy to partner Mthunzi Funeral Services Limited indicating that the Alonda app will bring the services at customers fingertips.

“This is part of digitising of services on the market and resonates with current global economic trends. Alonda is at the heart of it all, as it gives the power to every Malawian to access key services at a tap of a button in time of need” she said.
