Mlaka Maliro, Paul Subili and Gibo Pearson will on 16 December storm Blantyre to perform at Club 24/7 at Chileka roundabout on the invitation of music promoter Ras Ray Harawa.

In an interview with Malawi News Agency on Monday, Harawa said the event has been organised on demand for entertainment by music lovers during this festive season.

“People need to relax after working the whole year and they need good entertainment to make them relax this festive season. This is also one way of honoring the demand of most music lovers who have been asking for Mlaka Maliro as well as Gibo Pearson,” said Harawa.

He added that as a promoter his dream was to promote talent in the country so that talented upcoming musicians are exposed to the world.

“Most of the artists who are emerging in the music industry lack this kind of exposure that is why I thought it wise to promote artist like Gibo Pearson in this way since there is a great demand for his music,” said Harawa.

In an interview Mlaka Maliro promised patrons to the show a good stage performance since it is one way of giving their fans much appreciation for being with them the whole year.

“It will be an awesome show since we are going to perform with full energy as we are going towards festive season and our fans should expect fireworks that will lead to massive entertainment,” said Maliro

He also encouraged music lovers to come in their large numbers to celebrate with them since this is his second time to perform at Club 24/7 as such he described the show as a thanksgiving performance.

In an interview one of the fans of Mlaka Maliro Beatrice Thomasi said she was expecting a lot of energy and good entertainment from Mlakas songs.
