Malawi’s Homeland Security Minister, Ken Zikhale Ng’oma, has vowed to leave no stone unturned in investigating the series of abductions targeting the Asian Community in Malawi.

The latest incident involves Muhammad Kasiman, a 26-year-old Malawian of Asian origin with a British passport, who was abducted two days ago in Lilongwe while returning from mid-day prayers.

Kasiman is the son of the owner of CP Feeds.

In an interview, Minister Zikhale pledged to get to the bottom of the incident, stating, “As you know, this is not the first abduction involving the Asian Community. As Minister of Internal Security, it is my constitutional duty to ensure everyone living in Malawi is safe and secure.”

Zikhale revealed that the police are working around the clock to find Kasiman, and his iPhone, which was found dumped by the kidnappers, is being used to follow several leads.

However, the minister did not disclose further details about the investigation.
