Mic Mash returns with new album ‘Akuzike’

Mic Mash, real name, Daniel Kasinjeni returned in a big way Friday as the gospel hip hop rapper announced a new album comprised of 15 songs.

This was revealed during the eve of Friday at the Mic Mash’s private listening session in Lilongwe.

“Iam happy to announce my return in the music scene with new album ‘Akuzike‘ said Mic Mash

Mash who already released three singles from the new album, ‘MACHEZA’ and ‘ABALE ANGA’, ‘FLOWERS’ which features renowned hip-hop artist Macelba and a trap artist Quest has seen his fans highly anticipating the album.

According to Mash the latest album is derived from the name of his little sister, who provided a beacon of light during his darkest hour.

This album carries a profound message of hope, resilience, and the transformative power of embracing life thus in all “Akuzike – God should be exalted”.

The album is produced by Chawa beats, Francis Chiz, Jonstard with the final offering being mixed and mastered by Manifest.

He further revealed that the album features prominent names in the music scene like: Macelba, Quest, Seven O More, Siggy Kim, Beracah, Hosea Millias, Praise Umali and Muyiwa Frank from Nigeria.

Akuzike, is an awe-inspiring musical journey that beautifully intertwines personal experiences, mental health advocacy, heartbreak, relationships, spirituality, love, gratitude, and the significance of family and friends.

The album is being distributed by Newwave Group and will be sold from the 15th of July at 20,000, with a flash drive and will be out on all Streaming Platforms in August.
