As the preparations for this year’s Umhlangano wa Maseko Ngoni are in progress, the Maseko Ngoni Heritage Trust is calling on well-wishers around the world to support the annual event scheduled for September.

Secretary General of the Maseko Ngoni Heritage Trust, Impi Kandi Padambo Ndau, has highlighted the need for a holistic approach to make the event vibrant.

“The Umhlangano event is back this year as we continue to celebrate the Ngoni heritage. We are therefore calling for support through sponsorships, volunteering, or in-kind donations to make this year’s celebration vibrant,” said Padambo.

According to Padambo, this year’s Umhlangano promises to be bigger and more vibrant than ever, as we celebrate our heritage, unity, and the legacy of His Majesty, iNkosi Ya Makhosi Gomani V.

“The Umhlangano is more than a celebration, it is a living expression of who we are. This year, we are preparing something truly special. We are inviting the community to join us, not just as spectators, but as active participants in building a sustainable and inclusive cultural future,” he said.

Donations can be made quickly and securely via TNM Mpamba, Airtel Money, and First Capital Bank accounts.

“Well-wishers are required to make payments using the seamless platforms on Mpamba using a merchant code 608009, Airtel Money through the nickname ABENGUNI, and FCB account to the following details: Maseko Ngoni Heritage Trust, 0004502000159, Capital City,” added Padambo.

Donations can be made quickly and securely via TNM Mpamba or Airtel Money, using the following steps:
