Malawian duo to undergo trials at Caps United

Two Malawi Under20 stars Gift Sydreck and Austine Chirambo have safely arrived in Harare, Zimbabwe where they are expected to undergo trials at Caps United.

Both are Manchester Motor Spares players which plays in FCB Under20 Southern region league.

The Club statement says the two stars are expected to start trials on Friday, January 27th as teams in Zimbabwe are currently fine tunning their teams ahead of 2023 season.

“We are pleased to announce that, our two players, namely; Malawi U20 National Football Team first choice goalkeeper, Austine Chirambo and Centreback Gift Sydreck arrived safely in Harare, Zimbabwe where they have been invited to undergo trials at Zimbabwe’s Premier Soccer League heavyweights Caps United Football Club.

“Chirambo and Sydreck arrived in Zimbabwe in the morning of Thursday (26th January 2023) and they were welcomed by the Makepekepe officials” reads their statement

The statement further says the trials have been facilitated by a UK based FIFA Licensed Players Intermediary.

The two have joined their teammate Emmanuel Banda Junior who left Malawi a week ago and is attending trials at Dynamos FC.
