Celebrated Lilongwe based musician Lawrence Khwisa popularly known as Lulu among his fans, took many congregants at Prophet P. Gondwe’s Good News Ministries church in Area 47 by surprise, when he appeared on the pulpit and did his song Tsogolo Ndilowa.
Founded by Prophet P Gondwe 7 years in Mchinji seven years ago before moving to Area 25 and later 47, the church is attracting thousands of people some with different ailments which are miraculously healed..
Apparently the congregants were already celebrating Prophet Gondwe’s 37th birthday which was last Friday and were in celebratory mood dancing and singing songs dished out by the church choir.
The service which started around ten attracted thousands of people from all walks of life with others coming form as far as Uganda and Zambia.
When it was announced that the Prophet would be arriving in the church many had no clue of the surprise ahead.
Prophet Gondwe appeared on the pulpit with Lulu and immediately those manning the sound system started playing Tsogolo Ndilowala.
Without wasting time Lulu was given the mike by the man of God and boy he did not disappoint.
Those who were just sitting were forced to stand up and dance while singing along-who could blame them.
Even the Prophet decided to invite his wife and son to celebrate the birthday.
In his speech after the song Lulu said he was highly indebted to Prophet Gondwe hence his decision to always be close to the man of God.
“Prophet Gondwe was born for all Malawians if not the whole world. He has helped me to see life from a different perspective and please make use of him.” Lulu told the gathering.
In his speech after the service which astounded many with miraculous healings and deliverance Gondwe said it was God who sent him to continue the work of Jesus Christ.
He encouraged many going through turbulence in their lives not to despair because the period Satan tortures children of God is limited.
“Demons are like weeds and I don’t know what kind of weeds are destroying your life but know that weeds grow fast but die earlier than the needed crop. Some weeds are our relatives or close associates but if you continually serve God you will triumph,” advised Gondwe
