Mbewe said that the Trust has achieved all the objectives since the inception of the project in 2018 in the district and pledged to work hand in hand with RTC whenever need arises.

Country Director for RTC Malawi Deliwe Ali said that her organization will continue from where Lighthouse stopped.

“We will continue implementing HIV and AIDS programs and ensuring that those on treatment adhere to treatment besides promoting Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV and AIDS (PMTCT),” said Ali.

She added that the project will also provide guidelines on Anti-Retroviral Therapy, mentoring health workers on how best they can integrate cancer and Tuberculosis screening.

Ali then thanked Lighthouse for the support which it has been rendering to her organization during the transition period.
