Joyous celebration management team arrives ahead of BICC concert

The management team for South African gospel group, Joyous Celebration, has arrived in the country ahead of 20th December concert, scheduled to take place at the Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC).

Joyous Celebration Manager Boniswe Mbambo and the Production Manager Thabo Kgabo are part of management team that arrived yesterday in Malawi’s capital, Lilongwe.

Speaking in an interview, Mbambo said they have arrived early to step up preparations for the event.

“We are here to inspect the venue for the show, to work on accomodations, the stage and most importantly to prepare on the production part”

“I hope people will buy tickets and witness joyous celebration live, the worship and the praise and we are ready to give them the best on that particular day” said Mbambo.

Apart from just performing, Mbambo also revealed that during the show, they will launch the new album called ‘Joyous Celebration 28’.

She further admitted that the remaining team of 52 people will arrive in the country by 19th December.

To his part, Godfrey Zulu, leader for Psalms Celebration, the local organizing committee, said preparations for the show are at advanced stage.

“Preparations are at 70 percent for this event because some are supposed to be done before today but we are still pushing so that everything is in order by the time they’ll be here” said Zulu.

He added by expressing satisfaction with how people are purchasing tickets which are being sold through TNM Mpamba and getfairmw.com.

According to Zulu, two local gospel groups, the Great Angels and Ndirande Anglican Voices are expected to share the stage with the Joyous Celebration.
