CTS Courier has donated K1 million towards the construction of a hostel and sanitary facility at the Mai Mbambande Foundation in Lilongwe. Managing Director of the company, Jacqueline Bokosi, stated that the donation is a token of appreciation for the commendable work being done at the Mai Mbambande Foundation.

Bokosi further assured the foundation of continuous support for the project and urged the youth to take a leading role in supporting and protecting the rights of the elderly in their respective communities.

Deborah Mbale, the Director of the Mai Mbambande Foundation, expressed her gratitude for the timely support from CTS Courier.

Mbale revealed that the project requires K40 million to be completed and has made an appeal to well-wishers for more funds.

She added that significant progress has been made, with the completion of the construction of male hostels and toilets in phase one. Currently, the foundation is in the final phase where the construction of female hostels is underway, and it remains with the roofing, plastering, floor, drainage system, and toilets to finalize everything.
