The Central Region Football Association (CRFA) Committee General Secretary Benard Chiwiriwiri Harawa has hailed Kawinga FC and Extreme FC for progressing to the round of 16 of the FDH Bank Cup.

Kawinga FC beat Chintheche United while Extreme FC defeated The Boys FC to book their places in the last 16 teams of the competition.

Harawa said he is not surprised with the achievements of the two Chipiku League outfits since they participate in a very competitive League.

“Iam happy to see their progress, iam not surprised because they are strong teams and our league has been very competitive over the past decade thats why the TNM Super League is dominated by teams from our league,” he said

Harawa further believes that the two sides have translated their perfomances of Chipiku League where Extreme is topping their group while Kawinga stays second in their group.

Chiwiriwiri has therefore encouraged Kawinga FC and Extreme FC to fight hard in their next encounter and he believes the two sides have what it takes to claim the FDH Bank Cup title.

In the round of 16, Extreme FC will welcome Kadona FC while Kawinga will host Chitipa United.
