The High Court has temporarily reinstated legislator Charles Mchacha as the main opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) regional governor for the South.
According to Interlocutory injunction which we have seen, the Court has restrained DPP and it’s President Peter Mutharika from implementing their decision to remove the Mchacha from the position and replacing him until the Court’s determination or further order.
The Court has further ordered that Mchacha do file Inter parties application for the continuation of the within 28 days.
Recently, DPP fired Mchacha on the position and replaced him with Thomson Kamangira.
