In a bid to promote safe and secure environment in Mponela, China Jiangxi Construction Company which is constructing M1 road from Kamuzu International Airport to Kasungu has donated 200 litres of Diesel to Mponela Police Station worth K546,800.
Speaking during the hand over ceremony on December 20, 2023 the Company’s Site Agent Liu Honggui said his company is working hard to provide social support to Mponela Police assuring that the company will continue to support the police.
Mponela Police Officer-In-Charge Senior Superintendent Makalani M’bwana thanked company for the donation which he described it as timely.
M’bwana said the donation will go a long way and ease challenges of fuel which the station was facing while delivering their services to the citizenry.
However M’bwana pleaded to other organizations to emulate what CJIC has done in order to enhance security and make Mponela a crime free zone.
