Extreme FC wrapped up the K15.5million Chipuku Stores Central Region Football League with a comprehensive 3-0 victory against Luanar FC on Sunday.
Extreme FC who were declared Champions on Wednesday after League contenders Silver Strikers Reserve 1-1 draw at Mbabzi United, have finished six points ahead of Bankers Reserve who finished second with 15 points thanks to their 2-0 awarded victory over Support Battalion who didn’t turn up for the encounter scheduled at Bingu National Stadium.
Beston Jimu scored twice while the other goal came from Chifundo George to complete a comfortable victory at Kamuzu Barracks ground.
Extreme FC is the first Mchinji based team to win CRFA premier division League and gets TNM Super League promotion.
Coach Joseph Mlamba for Extreme was delighted for the victory.
“Iam happy for this win, it wasn’t an easy match but we had good preparations for the game that’s why we managed to win this game” said Mlamba.
Second-vice coach for Luanar Patrick Isaac conceded the defeat and wished Extreme best of luck in the top flight League.
“Indeed we have lost, we didn’t utilize our chances more especially in the first half but let me just wish Extreme FC all the best as they move to TNM Super League”.
