President Lazarus Chakwera has called on Malawians to work hard and stay united in developing the country as partners are coming in to bail out the country from numerous challenges.
Speaking at a development rally held in Ntchisi at Ching’ondole community ground in the Area of Traditional Authority Vuso Jere on Thursday , President Chakwera acknowledged numerous challenges the country has been facing saying he was glad that development partners have started helping to ease the situation.
”I salute World Bank and other partners on the initiative of empowering Malawians to be sustainable. It is because I was honest to Malawians that they will go through painful moments for change to eventually come. Now that help is here lets work hard and love one another,” said Chakwera.
In his remarks, the Regional chairman for Malawi Congress Party Patrick Zebron Chilondola assured Chakwera of massive support from Malawians.
”I am assuring you that Malawians are happy with your administration because of the development projects your administration is implementing. Be assured that you have our support all the way,” said Chilondola.
Speaking earlier, the Minister of Agriculture Sam Kawale commended the president for honouring his promise of developing the country through implementing programmes benefitting every Malawian.
