Blue Eagles FC have confirmed the departure of striker Gaddie Chirwa to Mighty Mukuru Wanderers on a domestic record of K12 million which includes K7.5 million transfer fee and K4.5 million sign on fee.
The deal has been confirmed on Blue Eagles official Facebook page on Saturday morning after discussion that took the two sides about two weeks to reach an agreement.
“Blue Eagles FC wishes to inform all that it has reached an agreement with Mukuru Wanderers for the transfer of GADDIE CHIRWA on a record 7.5 Million Kwacha Deal.
“The agreement follows a chain of discussions, consultations and negotiations involving both parties” reads Eagles statement
Chirwa had an outstanding season with Eagles in 2022, scoring 10 goals and registering 4 assists in 30 League matches.
Mighty Mukuru Wanderers are understood to have beaten Nyasa Big Bullets to Chirwa’s signature.
He becomes the Nomads third signing in the current transfer window, following Mphatso Kamanga from Karonga United and Christopher Kumwembe from Civo Service United.
