The festival is scheduled to take place on 28th October 2023 at Gland Business Park in Lilongwe.

Speaking on Thursday, Jah Kings Promotions Member Richard Chisala said the event has been organized to promote love and unity among the people.

Chisala said they are ready in all aspects of the event.

“I can confirm that everything is set. This movement designed to celebrate reggae music and foster unity among reggae enthusiasts. This concert also aims to create international exposure by uniting artists from Jamaica (The Reggae Motherland) and Malawi (The Warm Heart of Africa)”, he said

Chisala said people should expect a great event that will put Malawi on the map in as far as reggae music is concerned.

One of the local artists perfoming at the festival, Don Tarz, said he is fully charged to give out the best perfomance during the day and people should expect fireworks.

The Black Missionaries Band, Blasto, Don Tarz, Queen Fyah, Chizmo and many other reggae local musicians are also on the menu to perform during the day.

Tickets for the event are currently on sale at area 18 Puma filling station, Maula Puma, Nitel Offices, Engen Filling Station in Kawale and Khwezy Bus offices at Gateway Mall among other places.
