By Anthony Manda:

Malawi national team striker and former Kamuzu Barracks forward Zeliat Nkhoma has expressed delight after scoring his first goal for his new club, Kansanshi Dynamos, in Zambia, following a three-week hamstring injury.

Nkhoma, who joined the club on a two-year deal in 2025, found the net in a convincing 3-0 victory over NAPSA Stars FC.

He not only scored but also provided an assist, helping his teammate secure the second goal of the match.

Speaking after the game, the centre forward said the goal had given him extra motivation to push for more before the current season ends.

“This goal will motivate me to score more. I will try to score as many goals as possible so that when the MTN Super League finishes, I will already have several to my name,” Nkhoma said.

The striker also promised fans that they can expect more from him in upcoming fixtures as he aims to help Kansanshi Dynamos climb higher in the standings.
