Yo Maps to perform in Malawi, COMESA Hall

Celebrated Zambian musician Yo Maps will perform live in Malawi on September 24, courtesy of Sound Addicts Entertainment, The Producers behind the widely acclaimed “Ku Mingoli Bash”

According to a statement released on Wednesday, the musical Event, dubbed “Yo Maps Live in Concert” will take place at the COMESA Hall in Blantyre.

 “This event promises to deliver an electrifying showcase of musical talent that’s destined to leave a mark. Yo Maps Live in Concert ” will be a night that music lovers don’t want to miss out on, it’s an invitation for music lovers to step into a world where melodies take center stage,” said Sound Addicts Manager Shadreck Kalukusha adding that the show will start at 5 pm.

 He said the “Yo Maps Live in Concert” boasts an exceptional lineup that promises a musical journey like no other.

 “The stage will come alive with performances from esteemed artists including ZEZE KINGSTON and Kelly Kay, setting the stage for the much-anticipated headline act, Yo Maps from Zambia. Known for hits like “Kondwa and Aweah” Yo Maps is ready to light up the night with his captivating tunes,” he said

Advance tickets are priced at MK20,000, ‘making it an affordable way to experience an evening of unmatched entertainment’.

For those who decide to join the excitement at the last moment, door tickets will be available for MK25,000.

 Meanwhile, Kalukusha also said that they have partnered with Smart Deliveries, Entertainers Promotion, Stake Out, and Amaryllis Hotel.

“The event’s success is being made possible through dynamic partnerships with esteemed organizations that share a passion for creating extraordinary experiences. We’re proud to collaborate with these partners to craft this event.

Born Elton Mulenga, Yo Maps, is a Zambian singer, song writer and music producer.

In 2020, his song “So Chabe” was one of his biggest songs of the year. In February 2021, he released “Pick It Up” featuring Mic Burner and the song claimed a top position in the charts within a month
