By Selaphine Selemani:

All roads around Lumbadzi will this Friday lead to Debrolio House where celebrated Music icon Lucius Banda and Zembani will be performing after a year break from performing in the township.

Lucius and his band used to perform in the township during the days of Tlipano Leisure Centre but since the closure of Tilipano, Zembani Band stopped performing in the township.

This Friday Zembani returns to the township to perform at the newly constructed Debrolio House.

In an interview with The Atlas Malawi, Banda said he is excited to perform in Lumbadzi again after five years.

“We are excited to perform in Lumbadzi again at this newly constructed magnificent Debroilio house. Everyone in the Band can’t wait to perform in Lumbadzi again. People should expect fireworks,” said Banda.

In a separate interview Debrolio House Manager Brave Kaonga has since urged people to turn up in large numbers for the show.

“We want to give people of Lumbadzi maximum entertainment. This is just the beginning of more big things to come. People should come and enjoy our services while they dance to music from one of Malawi’s celebrated artist Lucius Banda and his Zembani Band,” said Kaonga.

According to Kaonga all Covid-19 preventive measures will be strictly adhered to.

Also to perform on the night will be Sam Smack, Nepam, Sammy Cool, Mr Zembani and other up and coming artists.
