Up-and- coming afro pop artist, Rich B ended the month of August in style as he has managed to release his latest song ad thereafter sign a three-year management deal with Cape town based Record Label Banana Bush Entertainment.

Rich B, real name Richard Edward Banda, who is also based in South Africa, said in an interview that he is excited to sign with such a big label 10 years after he started his music journey.

He said: “I started my journey when I was 19 years while in Lilongwe in 2015 when I released my first single titled ndimakukonda, but it has not been as smooth to make progress without proper management but now I can sigh with relief that Banana Bush has recognized my talent and sign me for three years.

“With this contract, it means I will be recording my music in their studios and in addition to that Banana Bush will now be responsible for promoting and marketing my music; they will also be responsible for booking.”

He has since advised all up-and –coming artists not to give up but keep on pushing until the right time comes when their efforts will be recognized to bear fruits.

Rich B also said that the road o success requires patience, perseverance and endurance so artists should not be discouraged when they see success delaying but keep on believing in themselves up until they reach stardom.

Rajab said: “We listened to his tracks, we realized the artist has genuine talent. We recorded his latest single misozi yapamvula which is now trending on various social media platforms especially on tiktok and we decide to sign him under the management of Banana Bush Entertainment Company.”

Rajab added that his label which is co-managed by his elder brother Chimwemwe Rajab has managed a number of artists from Malawi and many more from South Africa. He further said after releasing the single their next project will be to release an EP for the artist at a later stage.
