Macdonald Yobe will lead Silver Strikers Reserve as they aim to dent Namitete Zitha FC dream of defending Nyasa Capital Finance Cup.

Yobe admitted preparations for the final this Saturday at Nankhaka Stadium have been finalized ahead of K23 million regional cup.

“Preparations are done and we are ready to face Namitete Zitha FC” said Yobe

Knowing that they are up against defending champions, Yobe said he has been talking with players the significance of the match and he is optimistic of winning.

“I talked with players about importance of winning this game, they are current holders and we need to be alert entire 90 minutes but the boys are looking ready and set and I believe we will carry the day” he added

Providing team news, Yobe said all players are fit except undisclosed three players who have been ruled out due to injuries.

On Namitete Zitha side, Martin Mthetho Mkamanga has revealed plans of defending the competition after winning in it’s maiden season last year.

“We are good to go after finalizing training today. We won this trophy last year and we need to defending it this time”
